AVAST provides MRA, MRV, SWI, R2*, QSM, and vessel wall

  AVAST (Artery Vein And Susceptibility Technology) provides high resolution (0.35mm x 0.5mm x 1.2mm or 0.35mm x 0.7mm x 1.2mm)  in just a single 3 to 4 minute scan. It can be run pre and post contrast to examine small vessels and Gd uptake.

AVAST: Below we compare SWI and AVAST and single slab TOF with conventional TOF (cTOF) and

in the second row we show SWI again along with QSM and R2*.

ALL THESE IMAGES COME FROM A SINGLE 3 MINUTE SCAN.
